The Client
Our client is a leading regional providing services across Print, and Online. They are currently embarking in an exciting transformation and therefore require a Head of Digital Products to drive the strategic and operational direction of a range of Products across multiple brands
The Role
- Lead and manage a team of Product Managers
- Work across different brands and product sets t
- Collaborate with key people from other teams - marketing, IT, customer experience, finance
- Enhance individual team members motivation, talents and performance
- Perform competitive analysis of product performance
- Undertake regular research into trends and competitor activity/products
- Offer your expertise and insight, to enhance the business and product decision making process;
- Contribute to other business wide projects or activities, in line with business requirements.
The Person
You will also be likely to have a background which has the following features:
- A strong, successful, background in product management, which demonstrates how you live and breathe the product to maximize its effectiveness
- Experience of leading a team of people successfully, using a coaching style
- A top notch communicator with high levels of emotional intelligence
- Passionate, enthusiastic and driven
- Naturally adept at handling multiple projects/activities and comfortable working in a matrix management environment
- Experience within a software environment would be advantageous
- Ability to travel across multiple sites in the North of England
