An experienced, commercially focused Geo-Environmental Engineer / Scientist is required to work alongside the Principal / Director within a well-respected international consultancy based in Bristol. You will have the chance to help build and develop the team to manage projects from start to completion on a diverse range of small to large scale schemes.
You will be required to have more of a commercial focused mind with the ability to review technical documents and lead a team of engineers. You will have the opportunity to generate business as well as technically lead.
Currently you must be able to take projects from phase I to remediation and validation stages. This includes, writing or checking high quality factual / Interpretive reports for both Geo-Environmental and Geotechnical investigations. If you can recommend Geotechnical foundations this will be a huge advantage.
The ideal candidate will have:
*Degree in a relevant environmental science/engineering discipline and have an MSc
*Minimum of 6 year's practical experience within a UK consultancy.
*Experience and understanding of current UK legislation for contaminated land.
*Ability to liaise and help the geotechnical and field engineers. Phase I, II and III - Report writing; peer review and technical report checking skills.
*Planning, managing and delivering projects.
*Client liaison experience.
