This is an excellent entry-level role for a long-term career in Finance. The main purpose of this appointment is to provide financial analysis and insight to the firm's UK practice groups
Key responsibilities:
The key responsibilities of this role will include, but are limited to:
• Analytical support for the Commercial teams
• Running regular reports, analysing trends and providing commercial insight that will be distributed to the business
• Providing profitability information and writing commentary (where required) to include in business performance reports
• Pricing and profitability support for tenders
• Liaison with business stakeholders to manage and drive performance
• Preparing monthly and year end accruals
• Promoting best practice in reporting
• Supporting across a range of commercial finance projects as required
• Contributing to budget, planning and forecast models
Skills and experience:
The ideal candidate will be a graduate, and studying for a recognised accountancy qualification (CIMA / ACCA). You will be computer literate, and have a strong knowledge of management information systems (Excel to intermediate or advanced level). These tools will be utilised to make best for reporting and analytical purposes.
You should have very good attention to detail, proven client-facing and organisational skills, with experience in a professional environment. You will also have knowledge and practical experience of lock-up / working capital management.
