Team Leader - Enforcement
Working hours: Monday to Friday - with occasional weekends
Location: South East - home based with regional travel

Our enforcement services work with our local government business across a number of its contracts - collecting council tax, business rates parking fines, rent and other sundry debts.
About the role
You will manage a team of field based enforcement agents. Ensuring that performance, behaviour and conduct expectations are met by encouraging a culture of continuous development, through effective coaching and feedback.
What you will do:
*Analyse and discuss individual and team performance, ensuring that business objectives are achieved
*Communicate effectively with team members as well as key internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the delivery of business information
*Take responsibility for the development of all team members, ensuring that their qualification, certificates, skills and knowledge are kept up-to-date and relevant
*Ensure that the behaviour and conduct of team members is managed in accordance with Capita guidelines, promoting professional workplace behaviours at all times
*Responsible for ensuring that all documentation is maintained accurately and submitted within agreed deadlines
*Motivate team members to achieve targets, contributing to organisational incentive and motivational activities
*Ensure all business critical information is delivered in a timely, creative and clear manner, utilising the most effective method of communication
*To ensure that Enforcement Agents have the appropriate documentation on them at all times, to include bailiff identification, authority to acts, bailiff certificates
*To ensure Enforcement Agents are receipting, banking and notifying the offices within specified period
*To ensure that all monitoring and Audit checks are conducted in accordance with company policy
*To ensure that all vehicle compliance checks are completed
*Strategies with the Client Team / Managers to ensure all clients receive the necessary Enforcement Agents coverage
*To provide accurate daily / weekly / fortnightly / monthly statistical information relating to Enforcement Agents performance
*Provide support to management / HR support for recruitment and selection processes
*Ensure regular contact is maintained with EAS under their supervision by meeting in the field and providing assistance where necessary
*Ensure EAS are using the video cameras and monitor coverage
Your experience and skills will include:
*Previous experience working in a Team Leader/Supervisor position
*The ability to lead, motivate and develop team members
*Excellent coaching skills
*Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to persuade and influence
*Results oriented, with the ability to understand and interpret statistical information
*Excellent communication and listening skills
*Confident and self-motivated
*Ability to solve problems and make effective decisions
*Understanding of the industry and has previously worked with EAs
