Due to continued success and growth, we are now looking to recruit a Performance Analyst for our team in Taunton, working 37.5 hours a week.

PLEASE NOTE: This is an 18 Month Fixed Term contract position.

What will I be responsible for?

Joining the team as a Performance Analyst, you will provide management information, reporting, and support to enable optimisation of Viridor’s Landfill and Aftercare portfolio for revenue optimisation and cost control across Landfill, Restoration and Aftercare. Your responsibilities include:

  • Provide technical, operational and project management support to a wide range of stakeholders in order to optimise Viridor’s Landfill and Aftercare portfolio for regulatory compliance and for commercial benefit through power generation.
  • Produce and deliver management data and reports to assist in managing the Revenue and Cost profile relating to Landfill, Restoration and Aftercare operations.
  • Produce and deliver financial compliance data and reports in line with efforts to detect fraud.
  • To work closely with operational delivery teams to develop, produce and deliver management information and reporting to drive the optimum performance of the whole Landfill and Aftercare portfolio
  • To analyse asset, process and system performance and ensure that operational delivery teams are provided with analysis and interpretation of data, other management reports and information.
  • To review asset and process performance through analysis of condition based monitoring and other metrics in order to optimise performance and drive out cost savings, and improve operational, regulatory compliance and environmental performance.
  • To review the effectiveness of process and maintenance plans and identify improvements to enhance productivity, performance, environmental and regulatory performance.
  • To assist in the identification and provision of management information on required upgrades and expansion of existing systems so that data is provided in a timely manner to acceptable standards.
  • To provide project management support to a wide range of stakeholders to deliver optimum performance of the Landfill and Aftercare portfolio.

The ideal Performance Analyst will have:

  • Proven track record of analysing asset and process data, and KPIs
  • Experience of client / stakeholder management
  • Extensive knowledge of data management and interpretation techniques, and knowledge of environmental data analysis software
  • High level of practical experience of data management and interpretation using Excel and other data analysis software (especially environmental databases such as Monitor-Pro and Power BI)
  • Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline or qualified by extensive experience
  • Full driving licence
