More about the role

Here at AO we are extremely proud of our amazing in-house production teams across Multimedia and Creative Content, including a 3D animation team and purpose built photography studio. We are now looking to launch a brand new company to leverage this expertise and bring in third party clients. There is a huge potential for this business to generate significant revenues and we are looking for an experienced and ambitious Business Manager to lead this new adventure.

You will be joining right at the start of our journey and be responsible for helping shape and develop new business through to ensuring that we deliver against the briefs and targets set. This will be a challenging but hugely rewarding role, with the opportunity to have genuine influence on the direction of the business and see it grow into a well-respected and successful production house.

You will be commercially astute and have excellent communication skills, with a proven record of winning and retaining new business. We are looking for someone with an in-depth understanding of the production / marketing agency world and a huge passion for growing this brand new member of the AO family!

Here's what you can expect to be doing

- Developing a targeted long-term new business strategy that fosters growth in key areas for the future

- Generating new leads and building a strong pipeline of new business

- Winning new business, pitching to senior decision makers both within agencies and directly with potential clients. You will be working extremely closely with the creative department to develop ideas from initial concept through to pitching

- Identifying areas for business expansion and development, including maximising networking opportunities by regularly using conferences, events and trade shows to increase awareness and develop a further network of contacts

- Reporting on business performance, including the creation and development of weekly and monthly forecasts on revenue and target management and end of month reports on performance

A few things about you

- This is a brand new role in a new business area so you will be involved in every stage of the business development and creative process.

- We need someone who is happy to be in the detail and get stuck in, yet still have the strategic vision and able to demonstrate experience of developing a long term new business strategy

- You will have significant experience within a Business Development / New Business or Account Management role within a production house / agency / marketing environment

- Experienced in face to face pitching and communicating to clients

- A strong understanding and clear passion for content production / marketing / multimedia

- Experience within the video production and marketing world would be highly advantageous but is not essential

- Experience in managing businesses expenditure and revenue - effectively supporting EBITDA targets
