Position: Engineering Administrator
Location: Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire
Salary: Up to £18,000

The Engineering Administrator Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an up and coming Engineering Administrator, to join a successful team.

Reporting to the Configuration Manager, you will responsible for obtaining export information from suppliers for purchased parts. You will need to be able to handle requirements from multiple departments and be able to track where each request is and how long it has been outstanding.

This Engineering Administrator role will expand in time to include Regulatory and Compliance data. The workload will be allocated via the company’s Agile PLM system and the use of the company’s Navision MRP system will need to be utilised to ensure that the part has been purchased before making the request to suppliers, so you will need to be very computer literate with good MS Office skills and be able to learn new systems quickly.

Key Responsibilities of the Engineering Administrator:

• Contacting suppliers and distributers for the required information for a purchased (OEM) part
• Following up requested information so that it is gathered in a timely manner
• Communicate to suppliers and distributers efficiently
• Utilise PC skills; in particular MS Office
• Progressing work through Agile PLM
• Any other reasonable administrative duties

Skills & Experience Required:
Essential;

• Very computer literate with MS Office
• Highly organised
• Excellent communication skills
• Good team member

Desirable;

• Agile PLM experience
• Navision MRP experience
• Engineering office experience

The preferred skills are not essential as full training will be given on the company’s internal systems.
