Sound Insulation Testing Engineer

This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to gain industry recognised experience within the Construction Industry. 

By the end of your training you will be a fully trained Sound Test Engineer within a niche market.

Company

We have vast experience in Sound Insulation Testing for Building Regulations Part E, Air Tightness Testing and SAP Calculations for Building Regulations Part L1, Ventilation testing for Part F. We are a small but growing company with an emphasis on being customer-focused, friendly and knowledgeable

Role

• Carrying out Sound insulation testing for clients throughout the UK
• Maintaining relationships with trusted clients
• Managing projects from start to completion with the in-house team
• Producing reports and certificates

Candidate

Ideally candidates will be educated to GCSE Level in English and Maths (or equivalent) and have some knowledge of construction. Any acoustic knowledge or courses completed are also obviously favourable. You should have excellent written and verbal communications skills and be confident in face to face client visits.  

Experience is not necessary as we are looking for a talented trainee who we can train within our business, as such, offering an excellent opportunity to grow within the role and company. However, we are open to receiving applications from experienced sound test engineers

There are also further opportunities for training to become an air tightness engineer, ventilation test engineer or a SAP assessor, which would result in salary enhancement.

ALL applicants MUST have a full UK driving licence and good level of Maths and English. A company vehicle would be offered after the initial probation period. Candidate must have use of their own vehicle until such time.

Role: Sound Insulation Testing Engineer

Salary: £19,000 - £25,000 per annum.
