BS Social Care are proud to be currently assisting a large, and reputable Care provider in their search for an experienced Care Services Manager to assist in the smooth running and provision of quality care and support to adults, and the elderly with complex needs in their own homes.

The Care Services Manager will oversee the delivery and growth of the domiciliary and day-care services. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the Care Services team, ensuring resources are deployed to meet demand. Working with the HR Manager, you will devise and deliver a targeted recruitment & retention strategy to enable our client to become the preferred employer of choice.

You will further develop and extend the services including the development of specialist condition-specific support (e.g. dementia, mental health, Parkinson's, co-morbidity) and care for those at end of life. A central focus of this work will be the planning and implementation of an enhanced training programme to provide care workers with the opportunity for career progression and acquisition of specialist skills and knowledge. You will line manage Home Care Managers, Supervisors & Mentors and ensure they are supported, trained and resourced to deliver their roles & responsibilities to the wider care staff team.

The successful applicant must meet the following criteria:

- NVQ Level 5 in Management or Health & Social Care
- Nurse qualified (RGN) with a valid PIN and clinical experience
- 3 years experience working with adults and the elderly in a similar managerial role, preferably with elderly, and complex care experience
- Registered Manager with the CQC
- Train the Trainer qualification is desirable
- Driver with own transport is essential
