"You will work as part of a core operational team dedicated to a varied and ever growing programme of works spanning Rail Infrastructure and Civil Engineering for multiple clients within the South West Region*
Location: Bristol region
Salary: Circa GBP50,000 [DOE] + Car/Car Allowance + Attractive permanent benefits
A proactive and motivated Site Agent is required to join a UK leading infrastructure contractor with a large and ever growing portfolio of rail infrastructure and civil engineering projects in the South West of England. Due to a growth of works on an already strong work bank with Network Rail as well as growing and developing works with wider rail and civil engineering clients and authorities, we are looking to hire an experienced and competent Site Agent to take on a "hands on" and all-encompassing role in the delivery of projects through full life cycle delivery as well as contribute to the overall success on site as well as regarding tenders.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for the site delivery and performance of projects on the existing frameworks.
*
Man Management, Training and Development of Engineering and Operational staff.
*
Short term programming and performance monitoring of live projects.
*
Provide technical support to the tendering process.
*
Carry out project reviews to control projects, check progress, manage cost, and detect risk.
*
Budgetary control of projects reporting into the Project Manager.
*
Responsibility for Health & Safety practices on site
*
Consult the Commercial team on Project Issues
*
Significant client liaison which involves providing reports and progress meetings.
*
Ensure that the project is delivered on time and to budget.
The ideal candidate:
This is an incremental position to the company which requires an individual with not only relevant knowledge and expertise but also drive and determination to ensure the projects are delivered to a success. It is essential that you have prior experience in a Senior site capacity with an established background delivering projects to a success, ideally with experience in rail and civil engineering. You will also have prior experience within a contracting environment delivering NEC contract or Network Rail projects.
