The role will involve training store staff on Fujifilm cameras and the current sales offers. You will raise the awareness and profile of the client's products within all channels by creating positive brand awareness and increasing and maximising sales. You will also manage and build relationships within your given territory (M4 corridor).

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Provide training on Photography, Cameras and Key Technologies
  • Present Client's propositions, objectives, key messages, and incentives
  • Complete direct sales activities and events
  • Build effective working relationships with key contacts both in stores and at Management level
  • Define and implement local marketing initiatives in line with Fuji's business strategy
  • Recognise and act upon opportunities to increase sales in key stores within defined geographic area
  • Achieve monthly sales targets
  • Provide effective representative for the Client and company
  • Cover other territories and ad hoc activities as an when requested by your manager
  • Work with retailers in predefined area to drive sales programs and initiatives that have been agreed by and worked on with distribution partners
  • Offer briefing to all relevant store staff whilst in store
  • Capture data whilst in store visits using the reporting tool that is provided
  • Deliver monthly presentations to store staff communicated the key messages in line with Fujifilm's monthly requirements
  • Propose new activities to be carried out within the predefined area that will be agreed by the Fujifilm Account Manager
  • Offer ways to increase Fujifilm's sales and related business within the predefined area
  • Visit all events and road shows in line with Fujifilm's requirements
  • Attend all other meetings in relation to Fujifilm business as and when required
  • To understand and promote at all times current Fujifilm propositions and products and services
  • Delivery of high level training and briefing in Fujifilm partners Head office/flagship stores etc
  • Implementation of incentives and promotional events at area and store level as well as ad hoc sales and promotional events
  • Implementation of POS and other support and display material and agreed planograms and layouts where appropriate
  • Feedback of information for weekly/monthly report
  • Feedback Competitors information
  • Notify line manager of any ideas to enhance field marketing support for the client
  • Provide a professional working environment through consistent application of policies & procedures as described in the staff handbook, disciplinary &recruitment procedures and any other issued account specific or company policies

Key Skills and Experience:

  • A photographic qualification, or at least 2 years' experience of the photographic industry desired
  • Experience of working in a retail/field marketing environment
  • Sale environment experience
  • Experience/knowledge of working at a high level with photographic dealers
  • Proven track record of demonstrating at photographic industry shows and events
  • The ability to, and proven track record of, building relationships in stores
  • Experience in the Digital Imaging industry
  • Experience in face-to-face training
  • Report writing skills, with an attention to detail
  • Able to function in a Business-to-Business capacity
  • High level of Customer Service & support skills

Essential Requirements:

  • Access to car, and a full UK driving licence - held for at least 12 months, with no more than 3 points.
  • A flexible approach to working hours, travel, and job role (This may include overnight stays)
