Job Title: Multi Skilled Technician (Shifts)

Location: St Philips Marsh

Duration: 12 months

What you'll be doing

Your main responsibilities will be:
  • Work within teams to provide complete in-service support as a Multi-Skilled Technician
  • Covering all aspects of maintenance tasks primarily on the West Fleet DMUs with clear focus on safety, team working and service delivery.
  • Candidates will be trained as wheel lathe operators and carry out tyre turning duties on all types of T&RS

Who we're looking for

You'll need to be:
  • Electrically bias preferred with strong fault finding skills
  • DMU experience is an advantage
  • Dynamic and highly motivated
  • An excellent communicator, to ensure accurate and timely communication with colleagues and line manager both written & verbal.
  • Organised

As a minimum you'll need to have:

All applicants must have engineering qualifications to a minimum standard of NVQ 3 or C&G 3

Additional Information:

This is a shift position, the shift pattern for this role is 4 on 4 off including weekends and bank holiday working equalling to a 35hr week. This is a safety critical role.
