Swan Housing Association is looking to appoint a full time passionate and motivated Home Care and Community Support Manager.

Salary: £35,000 per annum
Based: Billericay / Colchester
Full Time / Permanent

As a Home Care and Community Support Manager you will be responsible for the management and leadership of a disperse team of Care and Support Assistants, ensuring services are safe, effective, compassionate and personalised  to a range of people living in a variety of community settings.

Swan Housing Association was first formed in 1994. We celebrated our 20th anniversary in 2014 and continue to provide high quality and affordable homes to rent and buy. Today, we operate in Essex and East London and locally manage over 10,000 homes with plans in place to deliver more than 1,000 new homes as part of an ambitious three year strategy.

We offer a range of supported accommodation throughout Essex and provide personalised Home Care and Community Support services to people living in various community settings.

We pride ourselves on providing excellent customer services, and we need ambitious, career minded individuals with a ‘can do’ attitude to deliver these services to our residents.

As Home Care and Community Support Manager your role will be:

  • To hold operational management responsibility for the Home Care and Community Support Services in all geographical areas.
  • To be operationally responsible for the day to day management of our commissioned contracted care services.
  • To ensure that our customers receive a first class, personalised care and support
  • To become Registered Manager ensuring CQC compliance is maintained.

This is a challenging but exciting role where you will need to have excellent management and leadership skills, knowledge of CQC regulations, experience in managing contracts and the delivery of home care services.

A full clean driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential for this role. This post is also subject to an Enhanced DBS Check.
