Full time waking night Support Worker job vacancy for residential care home in Hull

Your new company

Our client is a locally based care home, providing care and support to the Elderly and Adults in a residential setting in Hull. This exciting opportunity requires flexible residential support workers who will integrate well within a small and proactive team.

Your new role

As a residential support worker, you will work closely with the team members and service users to assess and address the needs and progress of the elderly in residential care, whilst creating a safe and positive living environment. You will successfully liaise with the families of service users as well as other health care professionals to ensure the needs of all residents are met

What you'll need to succeed

You will have recent experience of working in an elderly Support Worker role, ideally in a residential setting, whilst experience in dementia care is also desirable. In addition, you will ideally have an NVQ level 2 in Social Care and/or NVQ Level 3 in Adults. This role is subject to a thorough background check and a successful completion of an enhanced DBS check. You will need to ensure a caring and approachable environment to all service users so excellent communication skills are essential.
