The Changes Project
The Changes: Bringing Balance Back Scheme is funded by The Big Lottery Fund to provide a number of key outcomes, each designed to support individuals who have experienced hardship.
The Role
The role will be part time for 18 hours per week and it requires a specialist welfare benefits adviser, able to cover the full range of benefits and tax credits. The levels of advice will range from completion of forms, appeals to upper tribunal and will also require the provision of generalist money and housing advice.
The Advisor is expected to have the personal skills and abilities to effectively manage a changing caseload of clients, prioritising cases appropriately and supporting clients in identifying tactics for, and then moving closer to, leading more successful lives.
She / he will support the values of the organisation and work to ensure they are upheld at all times
