Heritage Care has fantastic opportunities for Care Assistants to join the team at St Audrey’s located in Old Hatfield. Joining us as a Care Assistant on a full time or part time permanent basis, you will receive a competitive salary of £7.60 rising to £7.70 following probation.
Heritage Care is a charitable organisation that provides a range of flexible individualised care and support services for people with learning disabilities, mental health support needs and older people.
We have opportunities for Care Assistants to join our home, St. Audrey’s based in Old Hatfield. You will work as part of a team providing physical, emotional, spiritual and social support to service users within the scheme to encourage them to achieve maximum independence where possible. To ensure that the highest standard of care is maintained in accordance with Heritage Care’s policies and procedures and CQC Fundamental Standards.
You will need to be a great team player and be able to build positive relationships with our service users, their families and our staff. As our Care Assistant, you will need to demonstrate an understanding of the needs of older people living within the scheme and how to support them to lead valued lives in the community. Good literacy, numerical and verbal skills are a must. It’s also very important that you are organised, patient and of a caring nature.
St Audrey’s is a home in Old Hatfield village providing independent living and dedicated care for 38 residents. The home, a converted manor house, offers a range of single rooms, communal lounges and beautiful maintained gardens, and is just a short walk from historic Hatfield House and other attractions.

Care Assistant Hours of work: 21, 28 and 35 hours per week.
Salary: £7.60 rising to £7.70 per hour after probation. Enhancements are also paid at 10% the hourly rate for night, Sunday and Bank Holiday hours worked.
