This business specialises in EU grant funding programmes in the area of innovative research and development across all market sectors, taking the mystery out of National and EU funding for their clients. Being the second largest within the UK, with an enviable advantage within the market place, this business spear head facilitation with the EU to aid funding and de-risk projects. They are now accelerating their growth and aiming at new horizons. To achieve this exciting new challenge they need the right people.

They are looking for a talented Business Developer Manager to be part of their highly professional and experienced team to grow the business in all sectors, from SME's to LE's, as well as Multi National Global organisations.

- Develop the businesses presence in all business sectors
- Generate high quality new business
- Negotiate contracts
- Build effective customer relationships

What they require from you
- An understanding of EU and National grant funding schemes
- Ability and experience of negotiating at Director level
- A consultative sales approach
- Evidence of ability to close Sales Contracts
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Working knowledge of IT software packages
- Be passionate and a strong team player
- A valid full driving license

Main tasks:
- Work closely with Internal Sales to identify and profile target clients
- Attend seminars and events to promote the business and the services offered, through presentation and networking
- Identify professional third party referral routes
- Attend Client meetings as directed, understand projects and identify appropriate funding streams.
- Utilise and update CRM daily and manage communications with clients
- Manage sales cycle to closure and handover client relationship to the operations team
- Generate reports and updates as and when required
