Main Responsibilities

As our recruitment advertising category continues to grow, we're looking for a Business Development Executive to join our team to increase this growth. The purpose of the role is to increase Trinity Mirrors recruitment client base within Cornwall, Devon and surrounding areas.

You will be required to develop and implement recruitment strategies that fit employers short and long term staffing requirements. You'll be working alongside creative experts to ensure that each project is uniquely designed and tailored to clients' needs with their end goals in mind at all times.

Working proactively, you will target new accounts through sales, lead generation, via telephone, B2B meetings and marketing initiatives, tracking activity on our CRM System. Ultimately, you will be accountable for building knowledge and understanding client plans, issues, imperatives, strategies, organisation, creating proposals focused around these points to secure client spend.

Ideal Candidate

As a self-starter with drive and a passion to support organisations around their people issues, you will have a genuine interest and knowledge in our product portfolio across both Online and In Print including social media advertising platforms, preferably within the recruitment marketplace.

Experience of working in a Recruitment Consultancy / Media Agency would be desirable, but not essential, although Sales experience is a must! Sales professionals from outside the industry are welcome to apply should they feel they are relevant for the role as described.
