Our client is an Outstanding CQC rated hospice, supporting communities for the past 35 years. They provide compassionate, exceptional care to thousands of individuals and families across Plymouth, South West Devon and East Cornwall.

They are currently looking for a Project Manager to professionally lead and manage a High Profile Sculpture trail project that will raise the profile and understanding of our client and deliver substantial funding for the hospice. This major project will deliver a city-wide sculpture trail to the City of Plymouth in Summer 2019, culminating in an auction of the sculpture’s.

You will manage the day to day logistics of the project according to the plan and you will manage a delegated budget. It will be your responsibility to plan the trail route through liaison with Plymouth City Council, Sponsors and other stakeholders. Other areas of responsibility will include marketing & communications and the fundraising for the trail.

The successful candidate will hold a relevant degree, have experience of Project Management in a commercial environment and ideally hold the Prince2 qualification. They are looking for someone who is creative and resilient, with the ability to manage rejection from sponsors. You must be able to deal with and relate to unfamiliar people and build and maintain relationships. Experience of delivering high profile events is a must, as is, knowledge of profit and loss management.
