PSD is a family run business specialising in car and van hire and vehicle sales. We are looking for a vehicle technician who takes pride in their work, and can work as part of a team.

Key performance areas:

• Preferably class 4 MOT certified, class 5 + 7 can be obtained within the company employment MOT licence is not essential for this position
• Undertake vehicle pre sales inspections, servicing and repairs
• Diagnosing and rectifying electrical, electronic and mechanical faults
• Ensure all necessary documentation is accurately completed in a timely manner, and maintain accurate records
• Ensure excellent customer service is given at all times

What we are looking for:

• You must have formal training and educational qualification (S) in vehicle maintenance and repair
• Techniques / alternatively qualification by experience and hold the necessary  training certificates to work in the area of operation
• It is essential that you hold a recognized qualification in Motor Studies i.e. City and Guilds / BTECH ONC / NVQ level 2 /3
• You must have a full DVLA category B driving licence as a minimum with category D + E and / or C + E (desirable)

Salary negotiable depending on experience

Hours of work 8am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday, every other Saturday 8am- 12pm
