Job Brief

Our company provides specialised support and enablement for older people particularly those living with Dementia through our pioneering village community model. It's an exciting time for us with 6 villages in place we plan to open 4 further villages over the next 3 years increasing our workforce from 800 to over 1400. To support us on that journey we are now looking for an inspirational Organisational Development Professional to lead on a culture of continuous improvement and high performance that puts the customer at the heart of all that we do.

The OD Manager will lead on the design and delivery of people and OD strategies and organisational change. You will collaborate with leaders, managers and their teams to enhance performance and employee satisfaction by improving the human processes of how work gets done. You will develop a programme of continuous improvement which helps Belong to be a high performing organisation.

Responsible for Talent management processes you will ensure that pipelines are in place to develop talent and future leaders. You will manage the design, delivery and evaluation of a range of L&D programmes including induction, Care Certificate, mandatory training and vocational qualifications whilst providing leadership to practice development professionals. Developing the skills and confidence of our teams is also a critical component of providing care and support services which will be achieved through embedding competency frameworks, supervision and performance appraisal and maximising potential through coaching and mentoring.

The OD manager will provide line management to the HR Supervisor and take responsibility employee relations through internal communications and consultation with staff and unions, budgetary management of the HR and L&D Department whilst contributing to policy development.

The successful candidate will have:

* substantial experience in Organisational development and design and Learning & Development
* previous HR management experience is highly desirable and is membership of the CIPD.
* track record in delivering successful OD and L&D interventions
* possess a post graduate level qualification in a relevant field.
* strong influencing, negotiation, coaching and change management skills
* planning and project management skills
