GCSE Coaches - Maths or English

No experience is required, as full training will be given. Twelve maths and English coaches are required to support College students completing GCSE re-sit programmes.

Candidates will ideally be undergraduates or post graduates, in subject areas where maths or English skills are highly developed, looking for part-time work during term time. A flexible shift pattern is available where coaches will work within a college study centre environment to support small groups of GCSE students in practicing and completing set activities that develop their maths and English skills.

Ideal candidates will possess excellent communication skills and be enthusiastic learners in their own right as advocates of the use of maths and English within the context of their own subjects they are personally pursuing.

Full training will be given along with the opportunity to complete a free teaching qualification.

A training and selection day will be held on the 1^st September 2017 where interested candidates will be given initial training and selection for the roles will be carried out.
