We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Kitchen Assistant to join our Retail Catering team within our busy kitchens. This full time, permanent post is available on a term time only basis (32 weeks per year). The post is primarily in retail catering although there may also be opportunities to work across the wider catering team.

You will be committed to assisting the kitchen team with the day to day tasks that are required to produce high standards of catering in a busy environment. You will be creative, focused and well organised with a passion for food! You will also efficiently assist the kitchen team with the day to day tasks that are required to produce high standards of cleanliness in a busy environment, in line with Food Safety plus Health & Safety requirements.

We are looking for a customer focused team player who can work alone or in a team. You will be focused and well organised. Having qualifications in food hygiene and health and safety would be advantageous, you will hold a flexible approach to working hours and practises, as well as having good communication skills.
