Our client has a great opportunity for an experienced Sales Business Analyst to join their team based in central Leeds. The main purpose of this Sales Business Analyst role is to support the Commercial Director and the sales teams in reporting and analysing the performance of the business and providing observations and understanding based on the analysis carried out. The role will be responsible for maintaining financial dashboards which help the executive team to make decisions.

Position Summary
Reporting to the Commercial Director, as Sales Business Analyst, your daily responsibility will involve an array of tasks, including;

• Create and maintain fit for purpose financial dashboards to enable the executive team, sales managers and sales team to understand current business performance
• Create and maintain a pipeline scoring system to enable the business to accurately forecast business performance versus target
• Create quarterly and annual business reports to review all aspects of business performance
• Responsive to daily business reporting requirements to satisfy the needs of this agencies largest client
• Collect, consolidate and generate weekly sales forecasts (month and quarter focus) and roll up each week’s numbers to Sales Management
• Compile key pieces of information related to performance against sales objectives to be reviewed by Management and report approved plans to Finance for processing
• Develop presentations that analyse sales and marketing activities and achievements from applications used
• Monitors the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and external intelligence essential to the sales organisation
• Recommends revisions to existing reports, or assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed

Who are we looking for?
The successful candidate will have the required skills and experience to undertake this role;
• Experience working in a similar role in an agency or commercial environment is essential
• University degree level qualification, ideally in a relevant business or analytics subject
• Excellent analytical, attention to detail and organisation skills is key to this role
• Good financial acumen with the thorough understanding of how sales revenue is broken down and of all costs to each campaign
• Strong communications skills, with the ability to communicate articulately and fluently at all levels, internally and externally, in person or over the phone
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships quickly through developing rapport, listening to management / teams needs and inspiring trust and credibility
