Credit Control Supervisor - £20-25k depending on experience

We are looking for an experienced credit controller to manage a team of 4 in our busy finance department in central York. We are a waste management broker providing waste services for commercial clients across the UK.

Duties
- Running Aged Debt Reports.
- Placing customers services on hold when payment is overdue.
- Sending customer chasing emails/letters.
- Calling customers with overdue balances.
- Responding to customer emails and queries related to Aged Debt.
- Using money claim/small claims court to take court action to recover debts.
- Credit checking customers who request credit accounts.

This list is not exhaustive as the role will develop as the company grows further. Other finance admin work may be required during times when the department is busy.

Desired Skills/Experience
- 1yr previous experience in credit control/finance role with credit control responsibilities.
- Minimum Level 3 ACICM/Level 3 AAT or equivalent or 3 years experience as a credit control supervisor
- Strong attention to detail and proven accuracy.
- Firm professional telephone manner.
- Good professional letter writing skills.
- Experience of managing personal workload.
- Experience of Sage.
- Previous team management experience
