Join Curo (in Partnership with Virgin) at this exciting time in our history. We’re a modern, ethical organisation taking on new ideas and looking beyond our sector for fresh approaches. At Curo we’re about people. We want to give every one of our customers the very best service we can, and we’ve got a great set of colleagues working to make this a reality.

Wellbeing House aims to provide a temporary retreat for those experiencing mental health distress, where they can receive support to stabilize themselves and prevent a crisis.

Are you a ‘people person’? Are you able to build positive and beneficial relationships with our customers? Do you have a passion for helping people live as independent a life as possible? Are you looking to work flexibly or within school hours?

We’re looking for a reliable, organised, motivated person who can engage with people who are experiencing mental health concerns and deliver the individual and practical support that they need to have the best quality of life possible.

As well as supporting wellbeing and helping individuals you’ll carry out risk assessments, complete support plans for customers, and liaise with external agencies. You will promote social and leisure activities within the service, link with other services, and deal with the occasional emergency – all and more are part and parcel of this hugely rewarding role.

You will need to have a friendly, non-judgmental approach and be happy working alone, although you will be part of the team based at Dartmouth Avenue Temporary Accommodation and attend meetings and training there. What’s more, you will be continuously looking at ways of improving service delivery and want to learn and share new ideas with your colleagues. You will be IT literate and able to record your work accurately. Above all, your all-round communication skills will enable you to work effectively with a range of partner agencies as well as with our customers who live throughout Bath and North East Somerset.

You will need a full driving license and access to a vehicle.

If this sounds like the exciting new challenge you’ve been waiting for, and you’ve got the passion, the ideas and the motivation, we’d love to hear from you.

This role requires an Enhanced DBS check.
