A new, exciting, job opportunity for a highly experienced and passionate Senior Front End Developer to join a growing international business in their Bath office on a permanent basis. The organisation is expanding its UK and international markets and as such the development team is also growing to support the needs of this hugely successful online business. The position offers excellent scope for progression and becoming a key part of the company's future expansion and success, taking a lead role with the development teams.
Your new role
As Senior Front End Developer you will report into the Technical Lead and CTO, working as part of a small but growing team of Front End and .Net Developers. You will liaise closely with internal and external stakeholders and be leading the development team in the full software lifecycle through to implementation and delivery. You'll take on responsibility for encouraging innovation, designing cutting edge new products and features utilising an in browser design approach. You'll also look at continuous improvements, ultimately helping drive a customer focused and collaborative approach to deliver products of the highest quality to the market, with user experience at the heart of the company's focus.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have extensive commercial hands on experience at a senior level as a Front End Developer and of working with on multiple web applications, in an Agile environment. You will have excellent understanding and practical experience of development best practice and key software engineering principles, being involved in planning and design stages. You are technically highly capable, really passionate and driven about development, always striving to work to your best ability and taking great pride in your work. Your communications and interpersonal skills are excellent, being comfortable communicating at all levels with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will be a natural figurehead, leading from the front for your team.
