In this exciting role within the Lettings team you will be working in the Welfare, Benefit & Debt Advice Team. You will be working with our tenants to maximise their income and promote financial capability and independence through an effective benefit and budgeting advice service.
You will be committed to providing an excellent service to customers and use outstanding communication skills to interpret information to our tenants, liaise with external agencies and demonstrate excellent negotiation and persuasion skills. You will need to demonstrate experience in providing welfare benefits and debt advice, ideally in social housing. The ideal candidate will already be experienced in attending court tribunals. You will also need to demonstrate an excellent knowledge of money advice, benefits and/or debt advice services and be able to self-motivate to manage your work load independently.
Salary: Circa £27,000 per Annum
Working Hours: 37 Hours per week (Applicants looking to work only 30 hours a week will also be considered)
Contract Type: 2 Year Fixed Term Contract
