Salary: £12,320 (pro rata of: £15,395) [FTE: 0.8003]
Contract Type: Permanent, Fractional, 37 hours per week, 36 weeks per year

We are currently recruiting for TWO Kitchen Assistant/Porter(s) to join our Hospitality, Catering & Tourism department at South Devon College. You will be required to assist in the cleaning of all practical areas and catering equipment, to ensure that the kitchen classrooms and stores are maintained to a high standard to meet the learning requirements of students. You will assist the Food & Beverage Lead Administrator in preparing resources for practical sessions and support the delivery of the curriculum.
The successful candidate will need to have past experience in a food/kitchen related employment and be able to work as part of a team and alone, with the ability to work under pressure. We are desirably looking for someone who holds a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and have undergone Manual Lifting training, however this is not an essential requirement.
