A brilliant opportunity has arisen for a General Manager to join our client, a highly successful tech business.
In this important role, you will have the chance to challenge yourself, lead a dedicated team to success and ensure the growth of a business that values innovation, leads from the front and connects people.
As the General Manager, you will drive our client’s business strategy, operations, sales and marketing in the UK and Europe.
Taking full responsibility for P&L, you’ll oversee all elements of the core business and maximise growth. You’ll recruit, lead and motivate staff and ensure they perform to their full potential.
To be considered, you will need:
- At least 15 years’ experience as a general manager and/or business development director in the telecoms industry
- A track record of leading sales and marketing activities for a global technology company
- An understanding of finance, statistics and predictive modelling
Able to engage and influence at executive level, as the General Manager, you’ll be adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced, high pressure and rapidly evolving environment. Results-oriented and passionate, you’ll also be a natural leader with exceptional problem-solving skills.
Managing significant customer and partner relationships, you will implement the business development plan and proactively identify, develop and drive long-term strategies to acquire and retain customers.
You’ll lead the integration of acquired assets and operations, define ongoing business strategies and establish KPIs and business plans.
Additionally, you will build strong working relationships with HQ-based departments and leverage resources to achieve business objectives.
