The Constellation Trust provides students with more than merely academic success. We offer our learners a broad range of experiences which seek to build their confidence, open their minds and equip them for life in an ever-changing world.

The Constellation Trust consists of Sirius Academy West, TheCollege@Sirius, Sirius Academy North, Blueprint Alliance Teaching School, Appleton Primary, Bricknell Primary and plans have been secured to expand the Trust with more primary schools/academies joining the group by the end of 2017.

Sirius Academy West was judged as outstanding in all areas in March 2014; Sirius Academy North was judged to be a good school with outstanding leadership in December 2015; Appleton Primary was judged to be a good school in October 2016; Bricknell Primary was judged to be an outstanding school in all areas in April 2015.

The Executive Principal & Board of Directors are seeking to appoint to the following posts across the Trust:

Clerk to the Trust Board and the Local Governing Bodies (LGB)

Salary: Grade 8, Point 31-34 (£27,668-£30,153 pro rata) starting point dependent on experience

Contract: The core work, will require around 740 hours (20 weeks) of clerking and will include evening sessions.

The Trust are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced and motivated person to join the team.

It is essential that the post holder has the knowledge of the legal requirements for Academy Governance and is able to advise the Trust Board and Local Governing Bodies (LGB's) on Governance, legislation, constitutional and procedural matters along and provide effective administrative support. It is desirable for the successful applicant to hold the relevant qualifications for this role.
