Role Summary

To develop the marketing strategy for the company in line with company objectives. Co-ordinating marketingcampaigns with sales activities and to oversee the production of all promotional materials and marketing campaigns by design agencies. Reporting directly to the Group International Sales Director.

Core Duties

·Support the Group International Sales Director

·Maintain the brand image via e-mails, telephone calls, website enquiries and social media

·Research and analyse market trends, demographics, pricing schedules, competitor products, and other relevant information to form marketing strategies

·Develop detailed marketing plans for all media channels and sales teams

·Collaborate with the Sales team to ensure maximum effectiveness of marketing tasks

·Keep regular contact with the International Offices to ensure all marketing needs are met

·Ensure Distributors and Retailers have marketing materials to help them promote the groups product range

·Post engaging content on the companies’ social media platforms

·Updating Amazon with product descriptions, images and prices

·Project manage UK and International shows and attending where required

·Approve and oversee the creative development of promotional materials, website content, advertisements, and other marketing-related projects

·Communicate with various media buyers, advertising agencies, printers, and other services to help marketing projects come to fruition

·Work within the department budget to develop cost-effective marketing plans for each product or service

·Negotiate prices for advertising, merchandise and marketing materials

·Design and producing adverts for publishing agencies

·Provide a brief for design agencies to create merchandise and marketing materials

·Liaise with design agencies to ensure most cost-effective pricing

·Report sales for UK, International Markets and international offices

·Update world sales budget forecast and marketing budget spreadsheet

·Answer customer enquiries via the website and social media

·Establish contacts; developing schedules and assignments; coordinating mailing lists

Knowledge / Experience

·Essential - a minimum of 2 years’ experience

·Essential – a proven knowledge of marketing principles

·Essential – advanced user of Microsoft Office programs

·Desirable – an understanding of international trade

·Desirable - HND/ Degree in Business studies or Business Marketing


·High level of written and verbal English

·Ability to conceive and execute marketing initiatives

·Time management and Project Planning


·Outgoing and socially confident

·Empathetic and willing to listen to others

·Must be able to travel internationally, including weekends where required

·Persuasive and diplomatic in discussions

·Analytical and data rational when investigating problems

·Creative, imaginative and naturally curious when solving problems
