Salary :from £18,708 to £23,384 per annum + Standby allowance

We can offer training in a range of techniques and specialised equipment to accurately locate the source of leaks from our underground network and private pipes owned by our customers. How to complete minor repairs and problem solve on our water network on a daily basis. You may be expected to work some weekends, evenings and/or nights as required and you’ll work outside in all weather conditions as part of the team and on your own. Participation in the Customer Field Services Technician standby will be required.
Working within a busy team, you will:
Identify and locate leaks on mains and service pipes by means of various leak detection techniques
Provide face to face leakage assistance to customers
Carry out minor repairs
Liaise with Local Authorities, Contractors and network teams as appropriate.
Use electronic device to receive and progress work and completion of daily timesheet
Ensure paperwork and documentation is completed
Maintain the highest levels of health and safety and customer service
We’re particularly interested in hearing from you if you are technically minded, have strong customer service skills, can work as part of a team and are competent with the use of mobile technology (smart phones / tablet, etc). You must hold a full and valid driving licence and demonstrate a willingness to be hardworking, ethical, and flexible in your approach to this role. An NVQ level 2 or equivalent would be an advantage.
An Entry to Premises card is required for this role – you’ll be required to complete a basic disclosure if you are successful for this position.
