Brand Manager (Higher Education)

Salary £24981 - £27290

This is an exciting position for someone who wants to further their marketing career in an award-winning Marketing team and work for the largest College in Pennine Lancashire and focus on Higher Education.

You will be based within the central marketing team and will, in collaboration with the Head of Marketing and colleagues across the University Centre, develop marketing plans for the University Centre at Blackburn College. You will then execute these plans to achieve Student Recruitment targets.

Key to your role will be researching target consumers and competitors to help maintain our leading position and achieve recruitment targets and you should be keen to understand our students and be clear on how to translate these motivations into campaigns, marketing materials, advertising and PR stories.

You will develop and manage the on time completion of all printed materials, promotional materials, PR and news stories, advertising, events and web updates.

What we are looking for:

You must be a confident communicator, effective project manager and make a real contribution to the changing culture of Blackburn College as a whole.

You'll be fully involved in the Marketing team and will also take a lead role at a range of College events.

This is the ideal opportunity for someone who wants to further their marketing career in an award-winning marketing team whilst working alongside (and adding your own distinct skills to) an already strong in-house team of specialists covering design, digital and social media marketing, website development and brand management.

As an individual you will be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.

Blackburn College values diversity and is committed to creating a diverse workforce.
