Job Role:

Our Client is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, organised and self-motivated person to manage a busy and varied workload monitoring the supply and delivery of new homes across the district.

West Lindsey is a large and predominantly rural district with a rich heritage and stunning landscape that provides an attractive setting for its three market towns of Caistor, Gainsborough and Market Rasen. Their big skies are matched by their big ambitions to deliver sustainable growth and this role will play a key part in the delivery of these aspirations working with colleagues across housing, planning and growth.

This new post provides an exciting opportunity for a person with a keen eye for detail and experience of data collection, analysis and reporting and has an interest in the built environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for collating information from a range of sources including travelling to new housing sites and devising innovative ways of producing internal and external reports to show how well the Council is performing against its growth targets. You will be required to work closely with monitoring officers at the other Councils which form the Central Lincolnshire partnership to ensure data is collected, recorded and shared consistently across the four councils. Knowledge of planning or housing policy in a local authority environment would be an advantage but is not essential. Having proven IT skills, and the ability to produce accurate written reports and communicate well with a range of audiences, plus a commitment to delivering a high quality service is essential to the success of this role.

Applicants will be subject to a Basic Disclosure Scotland check.

The Council has a commitment to equal opportunities and welcomes applicants from all sections of the community. They also operate a no smoking policy.
