To continue on their journey we need to bring into their organisation an experienced Location Manager at their high profile location in Newcastle. Ideally with an engineering background gained in an HGV environment, you will bring technical expertise, combined with commercial acumen, structure and direction, clear thinking and an ability to drive change. They look after blue-chip clients and household names and it’s a fast-paced environment with demanding customers. Part of your role will be to partner with their biggest clients at their location to ensure they deliver the highest standards of service every day whilst ensuring that your team also understands their goals and strives to achieve at all times.
The role also includes responsibility for:
- Financial, cost and budgetary control, including the location costs, maximising revenue potential, and following all Company financial processes and policies
- Maintenance standards including quality, compliance with legislation and Company standards by the workshop supervisors and technicians.
- Ensuring that workshop scheduling and forecasting is up to date and maximising workshop utilisation
- Management information - producing KPI reports and Location Scorecard to measure the location’s ongoing performance
