£22,927 - £25,220 and additional benefits
18.5 hours per week – up to 12 months fixed term contract
Our client currently has an exciting opportunity for a Lettings Officer to ensure targets are met in the letting of new and existing homes.
In this key role you will work within policies and procedures, effectively and efficiently managing the allocation process; this will include maximising income by letting properties as quickly as possible, working with project teams on regeneration schemes to identify and allocate decant accommodation. You will also ensure that all voids and allocations work is carried out in accordance with the Group’s policies and procedures and within the system operated by the appropriate local authority.
Other duties will include providing advice to outgoing residents about tenancy termination, ensuring vulnerable residents have a support package in place where appropriate and liaising with support workers and other agencies in making an offer of accommodation.
The successful candidate will hold 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above/NVQ2 or vocabulary, verbal reasoning and numerical skills to the equivalent ability level. A track record of delivering excellent customer service, excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate with a variety of audiences as well as excellent administration and organisational skills is essential. A competent user of Microsoft including Word, Excel and Outlook and also the ability to use Excel to analyse and interpret data is required.
Experience of lettings in social housing and previous knowledge of Orchard is not essential.
