As one of the UK's leading independent professional services companies we are currently looking to recruit a Transactions Services Associate at our Southampton office. You would play an important role as part of our rapidly expanding Transaction Services team, tasked with advising both corporate and private equity clients and assisting in the delivery and execution of financial due diligence assignments.

This is an interesting and varied role within an ambitious area of our business, and will ideally suit an enthusiastic self-starter who has qualified in a top seven accountancy firm or qualified whilst working in industry for a large corporate within the financial services sector. o Supporting the delivery and execution of due diligence assignments
o Assisting in the completion of client acceptance procedure
o Conduct detailed financial analysis and assist in the drafting or reports
You will see what makes a business successful and attractive to acquirers / investors and learn about possible funding options for companies looking to grow.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a track record of successfully assisting in the execution of private equity / M&A assignments, ideally within a leading accountancy or financial services environment. A good understanding of both UK GAAP and IFRS will be required, as will a high level of accuracy, diligence and integrity. You would also play a role in marketing and new business generation, so a commercial outlook and experience researching and preparing proposals for new work would be an advantage.

With almost 3500 partners and staff across 35 offices generating a fee income of over £300 million, you would be joining one of the 3 principal mid-market accountancy firms at a particularly exciting time.
