Job Description BECOME A DRIVING INSTRUCTOR with Sherwood Driving School

Earn GBP33,000 per year

This is a great new career opportunity. We are North Nottinghamshire's largest and most successful local driving school. Due to unprecedented demand for driving lessons we need to expand our team. This high demand for driving lessons will continue for many years to come due to birth rate trends. More people are turning 17 than ever before therefore more people require driving lessons. The average learner driver needs 45-50 hours of driving tuition to prepare for a driving test. This is more lessons than has been required in the past. This is another factor contributing to such a high demand for driving lessons.

Once fully qualified you can earn:

GBP33,000 full time (40 hours per week)
GBP14,500 part time (20 hours per week)
You will enjoy the freedom and flexibility of being able to choose when you work; and also what days and times you don't want to work.

If you want part time hours then this is a brilliant part time job which you can fit around family commitments. Or this can be a second part time job which you can fit around your current part time job.

We need to train up new driving instructors for positions in the following areas:

Mansfield area (including: Mansfield Woodhouse, Clipstone, Forest Town, Sutton in Ashfield, Kirkby in Ashfield, Huthwaite, Alfreton, Pinxton, Selston, South Normanton, Edwinstowe, Ollerton, Warsop, Shirebrook, Ravenshead)
Nottingham (including: Arnold, Sherwood, Carlton etc.)
Once qualified you will work close to home. All our driving instructors are given pupils within 15 minutes from home to minimise travelling time.

There are three tests to pass to qualify. These tests are conducted by the DVSA, they are:

Part one test - theory test
Part two test - driving test
Part three test - instructional ability test
We are very experienced and successful at training people to qualify as driving instructors. Once qualified you will be part of our team and enjoy real job satisfaction.

To be considered for the position you must complete the online questionnaire which you will be directed to and upload a CV.
