Customer & Community Officer MEAR49756

Stroud

£20,000

Here at Mears Group our vision is to make a positive difference to the communities we serve.

We do this by improving homes, improving communities and improving lives and our approach is based on the development of outstanding partnerships with employees, clients, tenants, customers, their families and the wider community.

With staff of all ages and walks of life, a job with Mears has a rewarding impact on the lives of others and your own life. With offices across the UK, a job at Mears could be just around the corner.

An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Customer & Community Officer to join us at our office based in Stroud.

Within this role, you will manage the delivery of Customer & Community Services for an individual branch, putting the customer at the heart of everything we do; ensuring we meet the needs of the business, our clients and customers.

You will ensure the delivery of compliance with current customer care policies throughout the branch as well as delivering customer performance in line with agreed KPI’s.  In addition, you will be responsible for delivering customer experience training to all staff, operatives and subcontractors, and ensure all new starters receive a customer & community induction.

In addition, you will deal with all the complaints coming into the Stroud office and also be heavily involved with the Planned works; carrying out kitchen and bathroom surveys with the client and site inspections during the work.

In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that you have a strong customer ethos gained from a similar customer experience role, along with good presentation skills.  Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills will be required and you should have good attention to detail and analytical skills.

With experience of handling multiple tasks in a high volume, rapidly changing environment, you will also be familiar with managing complex situations.  Experience of working with computerised systems is also important.

You may be asked to occasionally work outside of the standard hours (8am – 5pm Monday – Friday) when getting involved with community projects or travelling for training.   This role comes with a company car/laptop/phone as standard.

Candidates should also possess a full UK driving licence
