Regional Charity Coordinator
Based in Manchester
Salary up to £15,750 + Excellent Benefits
The UK's leading and best-known food on the go retailer are currently looking to recruit a Charity Coordinator on a part-time basis at their Manchester site, 25 hours per week Monday to Friday. The Role
As part of the Retail Support Function, you would coordinate and promote the company's fundraising and social activities across the North West. This will include supporting large scale charity fundraising (e.g. Children in Need), organising product / voucher donations and shop-based nominated charity donations, monitoring charity banking across the region, plus coordinating all Breakfast Club activities and assisting in identifying new business partners and seeking new opportunities to build links into communities within the region.
Working 25 hours per week, the ideal candidate must be flexible to work shifts that would fall between the hours of 8am and 5pm and dependent upon regional activities this may result in working either 4 or 5 days per week.
The Candidate
o Confident in liaising with people at all levels in the business
o Ability to build good relations with schools, external bodies and charities
o Confident in presenting information to internal or external audiences
o Organised and a self-starter with the ability to work independently
o Enthusiastic and values driven with a commitment to the Company's charitable aims
o Proficient in the use of all MS Office packages in particular, Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint and Publisher
