Are you a business journalist looking to take the next step in your career? Want to join a successful title that’s read by major companies including Nestle, Unilever and PepsiCo? If so, our client wants to hear from you.

Our client is a global B2B publisher that specialises in the automotive, fashion, food and beverage industries. Owning a series of highly successful news and information websites, their customers include some of the largest companies in the world. They’re now looking for a News Editor to join their B2B food publication.

In a recent company survey, 98% of our client’s employees revealed that they were happy or very happy with their job. What makes it such a great place to work?

You’ll be given responsibility from the start and join a team that pulls together to achieve company objectives. Everyone that works with our client strives to embody their values of fairness, innovation, respect and enjoyment.

What’s more, as you’ll be working for an international B2B title, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to travel to industry events, particularly throughout Europe, so you’ll get to see more of the world while you work.

As a News Editor, you’ll provide coverage on news within the food sector.
Ensuring that content is optimised for our client’s online readership, you will put the daily news into context and produce regular analysis on why developments are important for the industry.
You will also have the chance to interview senior level executives within the industry and, once you’ve grown into your role, lead the publication’s news output.

To be considered, you will need:

- Experience as a business journalist, ideally within the food or FMCG industry
- Previous experience of writing for the web, such as SEO and social media

Decisive, driven and eager for a challenge, as the News Editor, you’ll have exceptional communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative.

For the right candidate, there is the option to work from home. You will be required to attend our client’s office in Bromsgrove for initial training and then two days every month thereafter.
