We are looking for an experienced Charity Fundraising Manager to join an exciting and growing local charity having tremendous impact on vulnerable youth in Bristol and beyond.

The organisation is an outstanding, award winning charity that uses their own sport based programme combined with intensive and tailored personal support to help vulnerable young people flourish.

They have been working in the inner city of Bristol for over 40 years and are now starting to scale due to the strength of their high-quality delivery and excellent results, which have been recognised winning both local and national awards.

This is a pivotal and exciting point for the organisation, having secured significant funding from a number of blue chip funders, they want a Charity Fundraising Manager to help to create a sustainable future through the diversification and growth of income streams. This is a new post and we're looking for a dynamic person who will, using their initiative, shape the role and build a solid foundation for fundraising into the future.

Key responsibilities of the Charity Fundraising Manager:

Reporting directly to the CEO you will:

- Lead and deliver fundraising strategy to achieve long term, sustainable income growth
- Build and manage a High Net Worth Individual programme
- Build and manage a corporate fundraising programme
- Build and manage a small trust programme
- Develop and deepen relationships with donors
- Write compelling fundraising proposals
- Produce regular communications and timely reports for donors
- Lead in organising fundraising events
- Identify new sources of income for the charity

Experience, skills and other requirements Charity Fundraising Manager:

- Experience of setting and achieving income targets
- Proven track record of securing income from High Net Worth Individuals, corporates and small trusts
- Experience of developing ideas and events to generate income
- Outstanding relationship building skills
- Able and willing to work at both a strategic and operational level
- Excellent written communication skills, with an ability to write compelling proposals and reports
- Passionate about inner city youth issues
- A self-starter who can work under pressure
- Flexible individual able to respond to the changing needs of a growing organisation
- Experience of generating income through digital media would be beneficial
