This growing Company provides the complete range of outsourced HR and Health and Safety Services to small and medium sized businesses from a range of sectors and industries throughout in the UK and Ireland.
Due to growth, they need an experienced Health and Safety professional to lead the provision of Health and Safety across their varied client base. You will be business focused and able to provide a commercial approach towards Health and Safety.
Excellent interpersonal skills are essential as you will build and maintain effective relationships with clients, business partners and suppliers, ensuring that their service standards are met and that every customer contact with the company is a positive experience.
Responsible for the line management of a HS Advisor you will ensure that the strategies and objectives are met including the delivery of all aspects of health and safety and the provision of health and safety training.
Experience of completing risk assessments, policy writing, fire risk assessments, auditing against legal compliance and best practice, safe systems of work, committee formation and accident investigations is essential.
You will have strong up to date knowledge of health and safety legislation and possess a commercially pragmatic approach whilst striving to continually improve the variety and quality of services we provide and the business partners and suppliers which assist in the delivery of these.
A good telephone manner, the ability to effectively plan and prioritise workloads is essential, as is a sense of humour. You will have excellent written and verbal communication and be able to influence others at all levels.
Excellent understanding and use of Word, Excel and Outlook are essential and you will have high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
You will be NEBOSH Qualified or have equivalent experience/qualification.
Salary between £29,000 - £31,000 dependant on experience plus benefits.
