Business Intelligence Developer Engineer (Java, C#) - Healthcare Applications
Remote Working Option with visits to Leatherhead, Surrey

£35,000 - £50,000

++ We have a requirement for a full-time Business Intelligence software development engineer to help enhance our new and exciting Stratification tool application with increased functionality, new data sets and visual appeal ++

As a key development analyst, you will support, enhance and develop new functionality; ensuring 'big data' is correctly captured; processed within the sophisticated decision engines and presented using striking visualizations; in all, providing predictive critical business intelligence software that monitors patient's health and is a key tool in provisioning care and services to the local community.

Critical Criteria:

+ You must have strong commercial experience working within a Business Intelligence development/analyst role.
+ You must think logically and be a self-motivated problem solver.
+ Be a University graduate with strong relevant experience in the following:
+ Object Orientated programming - C# and Java
+ Windows application software development
+ Use of SQL/MYSQL databases
+ Web applications (using Web Services, JSON, AJAX)
+ JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Google Web Toolkit and jQuery)
+ Java D3.js DC.js
+ Ability to work independently and to determine workload priorities

Desirable Criteria:

+ Have some experience/knowledge of:
+ Automated software build tolls such as Cruise Control
+ Static analysis tools.
+ Familiarity with Read, HRG, ICD10, HSCIC, TRUD and other healthcare coding systems
+ Experience of using Clinical Systems within General Practice or the NHS
+ Effective communication skills
