Fundraising Manager
Reference number: A0730517
Location: Midlands
Starting salary range is £25,463 to £27,585 per annum
Hours: Full time
Contract: Permanent

Nature's in big trouble but thankfully as a nation we love wildlife and the RSPB is working hard to make a difference. Fundraising is vital in enabling the RSPB to continue and grow its work. This is a fantastic opportunity for an energetic and experienced professional to work with the RSPB in the Midlands.

In this key role in the RSPB's Midlands team you will lead a fundraising team (four staff) who work to fundraise through grants, trusts, corporate support and individual donors for our projects across the Midlands. These exciting projects range from nature reserve acquisitions and expansions to conservation work in key landscapes and projects that connect people to nature. You will have the opportunity to fundraise for some of these projects and will play a part in managing the pipeline of work the RSPB undertakes in the Midlands.

You will bring strong leadership skills, experience in fundraising and an innovative approach and be a persuasive advocate for our work. You will already have an established track record in fundraising and experience of working with and through others to achieve tangible results.

You'll be working with a great bunch of people who are passionate about what they do. You definitely don't need to be a wildlife expert but a passion for nature is essential.

Closing date: 31 May 2017
Interview date: 9 June 2017
