Salary: Starting salary £19,000 pa, + car and benefits
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Biologist/Life Scientist to join UK leading specialist in pest control. The role will be based in the West Midlands. Full training is provided. Salary will increase as training is completed and professional qualifications achieved.
We remain small enough to be personal but are big enough to provide the professional skills and backup needed within the industry. We continue to develop an excellent reputation in the food industry and offer a bespoke pest management solution and consultancy service. The company works in an environmentally responsible manner using organic methods wherever possible.
Your training will teach you to:
Identify a range of pest species, know/understand their environmental preferences and life cycles and relate these
Determine the current levels of pest activity throughout site (both internal and external), especially in less accessible areas
Design and manage control strategies that involve environmental management as the primary method of control
Gain the knowledge required in managing on site documentation at clients premises
Manage client management teams and provide training where necessary
There will be opportunities to become involved in sales as your career develops.
The successful candidate will be a quick thinker and be able communicate at all levels. In addition, you will also possess the following skills and experience:
Full EU driving licence
Computer literate with specific experience in Excel and Word
Fluent in English both written and verbal
