Import Agency based in the Oldham area seeking an experienced Buying Assistant for a full-time position. Willing to consider 4 days a week if suitable candidate prefers.

Ningbo UK Ltd work with the UK’s largest retailers to develop kitchen and bathroom accessories and home furnishings programs. To support the growing business, we are currently looking for an experienced Buying Assistant to join our team.
Our offices are based in Hollinwood Business Centre, Failsworth. This is just of Junction 22 of the M60 which make it easy to travel to and from.
Your new role
Joining the business as soon as possible, you will report to the Buying Director and be responsible for providing buying support to him. Responsibilities will include maintaining and updating the product development critical, ensuring all briefs are kept on track through daily communication with our Chinese suppliers and updating the Sales and Buying Director once a week on the information collected. In addition, you will be expected to assist with administrative functions to support the Buying Director and wider team as required
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position, you must be an experienced Buying Assistant familiar with spreadsheets and maintaining critical information databases. Experience working for a supplier is preferred, but this is not essential. You must be immediately available and seeking a full time position. Excellent communication skills and a high attention to detail are also essential within this role.
8:30am-5:00pm Monday-Thursday and 8:30am to 3pm Friday
However could be flexible for the right candidate to work 8:30am-5:00pm Monday-Thursday
