Director of Network Resilience - Appointment initially for a 5 year period
Salary: Circa £95k + Excellent Benefits
Hours: 36.5 hours per week
We now have an exciting opportunity for a Director of Network Resilience to work in collaboration with the seven West Midlands Metropolitan Highway Authorities in delivering the company's vision of 'building a healthier, happier, better connected and more prosperous West Midlands'.
This key role will provide leadership and direct responses to transport challenges across the West Midlands that may arise from the delivery of major infrastructure programmes over the next 5 years. There will be a focus on the region's most important roads to ensure that they continue to support economic growth across the region.
The successful candidate will have senior experience within a highways and transportation environment and a demonstrable record of leading and delivering within a partnership approach. A thorough knowledge and understanding of local transport policy delivery mechanisms and associated political structures will also be required.
