Assystem is currently looking for an experienced Supply chain manager to be based in Bristol with occasional travel to France.

Your 1st mission is for one of our clients, a major player in the aeronautics sector. You integrate an operational team dedicated to the monitoring of suppliers (product / plant). In this capacity, you are in contact with the client's procurement department and all the departments (program, quality, manufacturing, engineering, industrialization ...)

Your mission is mainly to ensure the follow-up of the deliveries and the quality of the products received by our client. You coordinate the topics with the MFT Procurement (multi-functional team).
Your performance is established by the satisfaction of the final customer (manufacturing) to deliver a compliant product for the engagement of the production stations.

Operational Tasks:
• During an industrial transfer, you take care and lead each deliverables of the project end to end
• Following industrialization of the product, you ensure the hand over with the program (case NPI)
• Industrial risk analysis during the selection phases (on demand)
• Select and approve suppliers (on demand)
• Deployment of technical and procedural requirements
• Being responsible for the deployment planning of deliverables (eg GRAMS, ASR ...)
• Ensure the implementation of qualification and monitoring of special processes
• Ensure the implementation of qualification of products by first article review (ISP)
• Support for the resolution of non-conformities (Derogations included)
• Implementation of corrective action plans (8D, 5Why, PPS)

Managerial tasks:
• Conducting and planning industrial transfer
• Create and report on dashboards and performance indicators of your supplier portfolio
• You carry out continuous reporting of the progress of the MFT team actions to your client.
• You master and facilitate the supplier relationship in order to gain performance and satisfaction for all parties
